Podash
An app that tracks your podcast's rankings by country on Apple Podcasts and Spotify charts.
An app that tracks your locations and visits while consuming low power.
If you’ve ever used Google Maps on your phone, you’re probably familiar with how it automatically tracks your location and lets you review the places you’ve visited. Since I use Apple Maps, I always wanted this feature there too.
One day, my friend Murat Çorlu mentioned how much he’d love an app with a location timeline similar to Google Maps. That’s how Hansel came to life. I spent a few weeks developing it and released a version with core features that allow users to track their movements and visited locations.
Hansel is a simple, low-power app compared to other location trackers. It conserves battery by only logging your location when there’s a significant change, rather than constantly recording. It also automatically logs visits along with arrival and departure times. You can later label those visits—like tagging restaurants, cafes, or museums.
The app runs quietly in the background, so when you want to review a specific day’s timeline, Hansel is perfect for that. Privacy is a top priority—only you have access to your location history, unlike Google Maps.
If you love traveling or exploring new spots, give Hansel a try. It’s free to use, and if you want access to location history older than three days, you can subscribe for $0.99/month, $9.99/year, or $17.99 for lifetime access.
