Not For Me
An app that hides the For You tab for Twitter to allow you to escape the time-sucking vortex of unrelated content.
An app that calculates when you can retire based on your age, portfolio, income, expenses, and annual return.
Over 5 years ago, a friend introduced me to the FIRE movement. I became instantly intrigued by the idea of retiring early and the power of compound interest, so I started delving into it. After some time, I began investing in ETFs and stocks. Since then, my goal has been achieving financial independence and retiring early. Periodically, I track my progress to estimate my potential retirement age.
While numerous online tools cater to this purpose, they often require repeatedly entering data. Given my interest in iOS development, I had an idea to create an app. Thus, FIREcalc was born—a user-friendly app designed with a clean interface, ensuring ease of use and zero data collection.
FIREcalc simplifies the process. Enter your age, portfolio, income, expenses, and annual return to calculate your Lean FIRE projection and determine your possible early retirement age. You can adjust for inflation and even set goals for Fat FIRE. The app allows you to save your data on your device, eliminating the need for repetitive entries.
