I have always had a passion for reading, but what excites me even more is discussing books with others. I use Goodreads to keep track of my reading list and connect with people who share similar literary interests. It was there that I discovered Seyfeddin and I had a deep appreciation for many of the same books.

That shared interest sparked an idea: why not start a podcast where we could explore and discuss the books we both enjoyed? Seyfeddin was just as enthusiastic as I was, and that marked the beginning of our podcasting journey, even though we had no clear destination in mind at the time.

Books, however, were not our only common passion. We also shared a strong fascination with Apple and its ecosystem. Inspired by that, we named our podcast “Think Different” — or “Farklı Düşün” in Turkish — and dedicated our first episode to the highlights of WWDC 2021.

Over time, our conversations expanded beyond books and Apple. We began discussing the software industry, technology trends, privacy, personal experiences, and a wide range of thought-provoking topics.

The podcast quickly resonated with software developers, technology enthusiasts, and curious listeners eager to learn and stay up to date on both tech and literature. We also started inviting guests to the show, giving us the opportunity to speak with inspiring figures such as Koray Birand, Bilgem Çakır, and many others.

Since then, we have produced more than 190 episodes, each around two hours long, and built an audience of approximately 4.000 listeners per episode. Today, our podcast has grown into one of Turkey’s most recognized technology podcasts.
